He gave a message to the country to avoid lockdown, while urging the state governments to use it as the last option. Opposition parties have targeted PM Modi’s message to the nation. His speech has been widely criticized on social media.

Criticized by national conference leader

Leaders of opposition parties are criticizing PM Modi’s speech on the corona. The leaders said that the country needs oxygen, not your speech at this time. Let me tell you that PM Modi in his 19 minute address said that there is a lot of effort to avoid lockdown and there is a need to focus on micro containment zone. So that situations like lockdown do not happen. National Conference leader Omar Abdullah said that PM Modi’s speech was somewhat different. In the first wave of Corona last year, the Center held everything in its hands; even the lockdown was imposed by the Central Government. But after a year, the responsibility of controlling the second wave of Corona has been placed on the state governments and Mohalla committees.

After PM Modi’s speech, Congress national spokesperson Randeep Surjewala tweeted that the essence of the knowledge of 8.45 pm was -: ‘Nothing of my bus, passengers should protect their belongings themselves i.e. their lives.’
