State government will kickstart a mass movement from tomorrow against Corona. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will himself spearhead the movement tomorrow on the occasion of Gandhi jayanti. This movement which is being started from the anniversary of the father of the nation reflects the importance of participation of people for achieving success in any objective. Gandhi ji himself launched many movements against the British government and participation of the public turned those movements into success. This is because when people start believing in something, they start following it. This movement against Corona also requires almost a similar level of commitment from the people. Now with revised unlock 5.0 guidelines issued by the union government on Wednesday, many more relaxations have been given and therefore the economic activities will become more flexible. In such a situation, prevention is the best cure. There is no vaccine and medical experts claim that mask is the only vaccine we have. Therefore there is a need for people to follow health protocols and wear mask all the time while they are outside. The mass movement of the state government will ignite that spirit of responsible behaviour in everybody so that the corona cases can be contained. While the Gehlot government has put all hands on the deck to control the spread of the virus, public participation is the need of the hour. The Police can issue challan for not wearing a mask, but many times that doesn’t deter people from not wearing a mask with the common excuse being that while doing work it is not practically possible to wear a mask. However, in the interest of ourselves and our family we need to change our mentality. The mass movement against Corona which will start in the state from October 2 will therefore highlight the need to remain committed in the war against Corona by taking all precautions while working to revive the economy.
