In a strong message to the perpetrators and those involved in women related crimes, the police official who was accused of seeking sexual favour from a woman complainant has been ousted from the services.  ACP Kailash Bohra is now no longer a police official which he used to be till a few hours back and has been sacked. The action was taken by the state government just after 24 hours of Bohra being arrested by ACB. The state government informed about this in the assembly on Monday and termed it as a rarest of the rare case.

A woman complainant had lodged a complaint and Bohra was seeking sexual favour in return after which a complaint was filed with ACB which comes directly under Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.   ACB took the action on Sunday and nabbed Bohra. On Monday the first thing that was done after opening the office bolts was to issue a suspension later and within hours, Bohra was removed from the services.

Kailash Bohra disgraced former cop who has been kicked out of police for his immoral and corrupt conduct after his arrest

The Gehlot government has once again shown its resolve against criminals by taking this very strong action. Now the law will take its own course and Bohra who is no more a cop will face the music.

The most striking difference between states like for example UP compared with Rajasthan is that in Rajasthan Gehlot deals very firmly and strictly with the crimes as per the law.  In case of crime against women, the accused are arrested immediately and are not given a long rope.  While there have been instances in UP where the relatives of the female victims have been assaulted, victimized , harassed, in Rajasthan police immediately takes action.

The BJP which has a penchant to make an issue to get political mileage every now and then has now left high and dry as Gehlot showed that he has a hand on the tiller and no criminal can go unscathed from the jaws of the law in Rajasthan.
