CM Ashok Gehlot conducted an open platform review meeting about Covid virus on Friday where expert doctors spoke about the current situation in the world and suggested their advice. Worldwide in many countries Omicron cases are being witnessed and therefore Rajasthan has a roadmap. Moreover, Rajasthan successfully defeated the first wave and thereafter the delta variant of Covd virus. This has been possible because of the proactive steps of the Gehlot government. Rajasthan was one of the very few states which developed the capacity of RTPCR tests and conducted as many as tests using this method which is often referred to as the gold standard of testing. In the open platform meeting which was visible on social media platforms along with media, one gets to know about the Do’s and Don’ts to stay away from Covid in the wake of the Omicron variant. During the meeting itself, CM asked the officials that a meeting with the collectors should be called and spoke about the way it has spread across countries and the way people need to be made aware about the use of masks and following other covid appropriate behavior.
