After initial excitement, the union budget has soon lost its fizz and now the expectations are high from the budget of Gehlot govt.
Certain sections like unemployed, poor, middle class were caught gasping after they couldn’t find any immediate relief from the problems like high price rise & unemployment from the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The BJP is therefore going on an outreach program to explain the finer details of the budget and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi was last day in Jaipur where he addressed media on budget related issues.
Soaring prices are having a deep impact on the pockets of the middle class who are forced to spend more than Rs 1000 for a cooking gas cylinder. The bloodbath in the stock market also took the sheen out of the budget as more and more people were keen to know about the future of their stock investments.
In such circumstances when poor & vulnerable couldn’t find any substantial relief from the last full budget of the BJP govt, expectations are there from Gehlot’s budget which he will present on February 10. However it is ironic that those who did not expect any relief from the price rise from the union budget are now looking for relief from Gehlot ‘s budget.
