It is a relief amid the coronavirus pandemic that the recovery rate of patients infected with Corona virus is one the highest in Rajasthan. The increasing rate of recovery of Corona patients in Rajasthan is actually the ‘increasing rate of return’ from the investment made by the state in the health sector.
When there is no certified medicine or a vaccine available to treat this infection, the healthy recovery rate of patients in the state indicates that the health services are better in the state compared to other states. Moreover, the proactive approach of the state government in dealing with this health crisis has surely helped the state in treating patients well on time.
Steps like implementing the lockdown at correct time , scaling up testing and taking innovative steps like using Hydroxychloroquine and anti-HIV Drugs Lopinavir and Ritonavir in the first few patients of COVID-19 has delivered good results and has also boosted the morale. Plasma therapy to cure patients was also introduced in the state which gave considerable success to doctors in treatment.
Right from the level of the Chief Minister to downwards, round the clock monitoring and war room has made saving lives a priority and along with a team of doctors ruthless containment was done at the hotspot zones.
On Friday evening, Gehlot took another important decision and imposed a cap on testing and treatment of corona in private hospitals to give relief to the people.
The state government is now launching a statewide special awareness campaign. The idea is to make people aware about the ways they can get infected and to prevent that so that they can stay away from Corona.
