Ashok Gehlot is rightly called as people’s CM. This is because of the easy going approach and affability. The way he meets the people is very impressive and effective. His interactions with the people are impromptu and people are surprised to see the CM himself amidst them.
This was witnessed today again when CM stopped his cavalcade midway at Bada Padampura and chit chatted with the local people. The local people were happy and surprised to see such a big leader amidst them and his way of talking humbly with them. Gehlot sought feedback from them about the Chiranjeevi scheme and also talked to them about the problems they face. The locals were all smiles to see the simple CM talking with him. This is very rare in today’s politics. Where small-time politicians, newbies have forgotten how to talk with humility, three time CM and senior leader Gehlot is epitome of being a people’s CM . Many political observers and even Gehlot’s detractors are actually fond of his simple style and affable behavior. This is the reason that when he talks in a simple manner with people, he gets real feedback of the ground situation. He also stopped in between and talked to young students also who were also excited to meet the CM. This itself tells us the reason why he is the third time CM of the largest state of the country and BJP leaders too are always defeated by him .
