As it is the problems for BJP were plenty and now another row has broke in the party with senior legislator and former assembly speaker Kailash Meghwal making allegations against union law minister Arjun Meghwal. Calling Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal “corrupt number one”, Rajasthan BJP MLA Kailash Meghwal on Monday said he will ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove him from the Council of Ministers. Meghwal also praised CM Gehlot for doing everything for his constituency.
He made the allegation during a public meeting at a village in Bhilwara but did not elaborate. Bikaner MP Arjun Ram Meghwal was recently appointed the convenor of the BJP’s election manifesto committee for the Rajasthan assembly elections.
This episode once again shows that there are serious rifts in the party which was once called party with a difference but more alarming is that all this is happening when the elections are round the corner. The party has currently no bankable leader on whose shoulder it can cross the political river and arrive at the doorstep of the power. It has to constantly look at the face of PM Modi .
Now the current round of controversy in Rajasthan BJP is sure to give ammunition to the congress party which is doing whatever it takes to retain power in the state.
