Congress leader Lokesh Sharma who has been at the forefront in social media warfare against the BJP has now been appointed as the Co-Chairman of the Central War Room for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Rajasthan with immediate effect. IAS-turned-politician Sasikanth Senthil has been appointed as the Chairman of the Central War Room. Sharma’s appointment is being seen as a politically significant decision of the grand old party which has put its confidence in Sharma because of his sharp attacks on the BJP and its key leaders on social media.
Recently Sharma also toured more than half of the state for his innovative Yuva- samvad program which was a kind of first in the state by any leader. Sharma touched the length and breadth of the state and interacted with the youth bringing them closer to the ideology of the Congress party .
Known for his proximity to the CM in his capacity as his OSD, Lokesh Sharma has proved his mettle and will now be a close associate in the war room as its co- chairman sharpening the attacks of the party in poll bound Rajasthan.
His supporters are particularly happy and feel that their leader is scaling greater heights in Rajasthan politics. He is seen as a favourite among a large number of people who wish to see him in the assembly now.
