BJP is trying to look battle ready in Rajasthan but it is yet to find a face that can give a challenge to the aspirations of CM Gehlot who is trying hard to buck the trend. The party is currently fighting keeping the face of PM Modi in front but it also knows that people will need a local face if they want to place their bet on the BJP.
The decision of starting yatras by 4 different leaders may also boomerang on the party marred by factionalism as uptil now it is only Vasundhara Raje who has taken out yatras in the party in Rajasthan. The party has released some names in MP & Chhattisgarh but it has not done so in Rajasthan perhaps for the same reason.
It is now evident that no single leader in the party is able to match the political skills and leadership of CM Gehlot in Congress. The PM will also be doing rallies while 4 different yatras will be taken out. This means full attack from all sides by the BJP and strengthens the belief that Ek akela Gehlot sabhi par bhaari in Rajathan.
The congress party is also blazing all guns on the front of social media and is giving a tit for tat reply to the BJP’s political maneuvers. Recently after a tweet of BJP’s IT cell supremo Amit Malviya about Rajesh Pilot, Sachin Pilot had hit back at him with the facts. Thereafter CM Gehlot BJP of insulting IAF. In a tweet Gehlot said, “Congress leader Shri Rajesh Pilot was a brave pilot of the Indian Air Force. By insulting him, the BJP is insulting the sacrifice of the Indian Air Force. The whole country should condemn this.”
