Rajasthan’s political space is witnessing a sea change in the politics of the state and a new dawn has spread in the sky of the state. BJP’s Bhajanalal Sharma becoming the CM today marks the end of era of former CMs Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje. For over two decades both these leaders were at the helm of the politics of state and became CM by turns till now. However going by the saying Modi hai toh mumkin hai this time Rajasthan is getting a new face as CM. What role the parties will be assigning to Gehlot and Raje is yet to be seen as Loksabha elections are also just a few months away. BJP has given responsibilities to new faces and has made Diya Kumari and PC Bairwa as Deputy – CM. This is a new thing, Raje has been completely sidelined and it will be worth seeing that her supporters will be given space in the council of ministers .
Meanwhile most of the roads leading up to Alber hall have been decorated with posters and banners of v welfare schemes of the BJP-led Centre along with cut outs of leaders. A feel of joy is in the air and the BJP supporters look jubilant.
